Arbonia AG completed the EUR 750m sale of its climate division to Midea Electrics Netherlands B.V., a company of Midea Group.
Arbonia Climate employs more than 3,000 people and develops and manufactures products and systems for sustainable heating and cooling generation, heating and cooling distribution, energy storage, ventilation and air treatment. With the sale of the climate division completed, Arbonia’s strategy is to focus on the doors business it has invested in over the last few years.
Midea Group is a global technology enterprise encompassing smart home, industrial technology, building technology, robotics and automation, healthcare, and smart logistics. Its business spans over 200 countries and regions, with 33 R&D centres and 43 major manufacturing bases globally.
