Fortaco Group has acquired Rapp Zastava, a Serbian company providing winches and other solutions to the marine industry, which employs 150 people and has a modern factory, located in Gruža.
Karanovic & Partners team led by Partner Ivan Nonković and Senior Associate Marko Ćulafić, have worked in cooperation with Advokatfirmaet Selmer for Fortaco, on the local aspects of the transaction, which included due diligence, negotiations, preparation of the transactional documents, and closing and post-closing matters related to this acquisition.
Fortaco Group is one of the leading strategic partners in the field of the maritime industry, and by this acquisition, as announced, Fortaco is expanding its geographical presence and offering in the marine business.
This also provides Fortaco and its customers with new capacity within the steel fabrication and assembly business, in addition to the off-highway segment.
