Katende Ssempebwa Technology (KATS) and Karanovic & Partners and cooperating lawyers involved in k://lab project held a webinar on impact of regulation on tech companies, covering topics such as cyber security, GDPR, data protection and many more. The webinar was held on Wednesday, 15 July and initiated a robust discussion on data protection law, the obligations on people collecting data as part of their business and the dangers of non-compliance, emphasizing that there is still a lack of awareness related to data regulation, especially with the COVID-19 outbreak.
