On 29 November 2024, our Senior Associate Andrej Jelenković shared our recent experiences in the areas of tax audits, tax disputes, and tax criminal cases at the “Tax Days” event organised by the Association of Serbian Tax Advisors (ASTA).
The event fostered an interactive discussion among ASTA members and participants, leading to an exchange of practical insights on various aspects of tax audits. Topics covered included the approaches of tax inspectors, common subjects and periods of audits, conclusions and trends from the Ministry of Finance regarding taxpayer remedies, and the typical practices of Public Prosecution Offices in handling criminal charges related to tax evasion.
We are happy to have been part of this event, exchanging knowledge that helps tackle the complexities of tax challenges with confidence.
