The traditional Vienna Arbitration Days were held on 7 and 8 June 8 2024, in Vienna, Austria.
As the legal profession is evolving fast, this year’s conference was properly named “Rock Me Arbitration: Tune in to A New Beat!” It was set to address the multi-faceted impacts of ESG, human rights, sustainability, green transition, supply chain management, sanctions, AI, and ethics surrounding legal profession and the international dispute resolution community at large.
The event brought together experts and practitioners to discuss the challenges presented by these dynamic changes. The sessions provided analyses and discussions on how these global issues are reshaping arbitration practices around the world.
Our Partner Milica Savić moderated one of the panel discussions on ethical and other challenges of using AI in arbitration.
The Vienna Arbitration Days once again proved to be a pivotal platform for legal professionals to exchange ideas and stay attuned to the latest developments impacting the field of arbitration. Finally, “Rock Me Arbitration: Tune in to A New Beat!” turned out not just to be a conference theme but a call to action for the legal community to adapt and innovate. The conversations initiated and connections made during these two days in Vienna will surely inspire future advancements and ethical considerations in the field.
