Brose, one of the largest family-owned suppliers in automotive industry, signed an agreement with the Republic of Serbia regarding the acquisition of the 23 hectare plot of land for the construction of a plant (together with research center) that will produce automotive equipment.
The construction of the factory will begin in three months, while the plant should start operations in January 2021. Brose will invest more than EUR 180 million in this project. It is envisaged that they will employ at least 1,100 full-time employees with salaries significantly above the state’s average.
