Karanović & Partners took part at the virtual Launch of the Irish-Serbian Chamber of Commerce that occurred on Wednesday, 26th of May 2021. Our Senior Associate Bojana Miljanović attended what should happen to be the start of a new chapter of Serbian-Irish cooperation. The event was honoured with two very special guests – Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defense Simon Coveney and her excellency, Ambassador Aleksandra Joksimović, who formally launched the ISCC.
During the event, the Ambassador took the chance to emphasize the benefits of the Serbian market and its potential for future growth, as well as the efforts made by the Government to make Serbia an even more attractive place for large investors.
The launch of the Irish-Serbian Chamber of Commerce is meant to improve trading relations between the two countries and create an economic partnership that would possibly lead to even bigger things in the future. In addition to that, the participants stated the importance of such an agreement, considering that Serbia has the goal of joining the EU and making strong bonds with one of its members can only be helpful in the long run.
