Karanović & Partners hosted a drinks reception for Balkan participants of the Web Summit in Lisbon on 5 November.
Managing Partner Rastko Petaković was the host of the reception and around 100 people attended the event.
Web Summit is one of the largest events that brings together key figures from the companies that are at the forefront of global tech industry. It has been praised as the best technology summit in the world and a grand conclave of the tech industry’s leaders.
The main subjects of this year’s gathering were the next steps at the time of great uncertainty for many industries and the world itself.
The event was attended by more than 70.000 people from more than 160 countries. More than 1,200 speakers were invited, including whistleblower and head of Freedom of the Press Foundation Edward Snowden, president of Microsoft Brad Smith, EU’s Chief Negotiator on Brexit Michel Barnier and many others.
