Karanović & Partners, with its cooperating lawyers, has been awarded the prestigious Deal of the Year 2025 for two transactions at the ceremony held in Prague, Czech Republic.
The 2025 Deal of the Year winner in the Central and Eastern Europe region is E&’s Acquisition of PPF Telecom Bulgarian, Hungarian, Serbian, and Slovakian Assets. The international advisers to the PPF Group were our colleagues from White & Case and Perkins Coie, with Djingov, Gouginski, Kyutchukov & Velichkov, Lakatos Koves & Partners and Von Doorne being the other local advisers to the PPF Group.
Our team advised on the Serbian aspects of the transaction. Senior Partner Miloš Jakovljević, with Partner Sava Drača, Associate Ljubica Stojanović, and Junior Associate Teodora Vasin, led our transactional team. Our Partner Bojan Vučković guided the transaction’s competition aspects.
For Montenegro, the winner is Akuo’s Krnovo 72MW Wind Power Plant by KfW IPEX-Bank.
