Our Senior Associate, Andrej Jelenković, participated in the Berlin Group WSG meetings hosted by Kocián Šolc Balaštík Law Firm in Prague on 7 and 8 December. The group, comprised of litigation lawyers from various European countries, engaged in discussions regarding the latest developments in litigation. A key focus was on the regulatory changes in class actions across EU countries mandated by the EU Directive (2020/1828).
In addition to this central theme, members delved into topics such as the utilization of Artificial Intelligence in case preparation and office management, anticipating the rapidly approaching future of the legal services business. The exchange of insights and experiences among legal professionals contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the evolving legal landscape.
Looking ahead, the next set of meetings is scheduled for June 2024 in Estonia, providing a continued platform for collaboration and the exchange of knowledge among legal experts.
