Karanovic & Partners is pleased to announce that our Partner* Milena Jakšić Papac has been re-elected as the President of the Foreign Investors Council Human Resources Committee. Over the next two years, Milena’s main priorities as the President of the Committee will be focusing on the new Labour Law, digitalization and simplification of various procedures, as well as prevention of sick leave abuse.
Milena Jakšić Papac is the Head of the Employment Practice Group at Karanovic & Partners. Besides dealing with all aspects of employment and labour law, Milena was most recently engaged in providing advice regarding COVID-19 pandemic measures introduced by the Serbian Government and the means of their implementation.
FIC HR Committee is dedicated to the introduction of the contemporary human resource system in Serbia and is supported by many partners such as the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Ministry of Interior, various universities, and other FIC members and consultants. Milena has been an active member of this committee for many years, holding the position of Vice President until 2014. This is her second reappointment as President of the Committee.
