On 18 April, Belgrade hosted the annual conference of O.U.R. HR, the organisation of HR professionals in Serbia. Under the theme “Should HR Be the Ones to Fix the Damage?”, the event delved into the most prominent issues facing the HR sector, drawing together numerous international, regional, and local experts.
The conference began with a keynote address by Professor Dr. sc. Nataša Jokić-Begič, a renowned clinical psychologist and professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her insights set the stage for a day of engaging discussion.
Throughout the day, four panels tackled a range of topics vital to the HR landscape. Our Head of Learning and Development, Ivana Karanović, moderated the second panel. Focused on the transition from StartUp to BigTech, this session explored the role of HR in addressing the challenges of these specific professional environments.
Ivana facilitated conversations with experts from leading software development companies, including Saša Popović, Co-Founder & CEO at Vega IT, and Predrag Spasojević, Founder & CEO at Hooloovoo. Their experiences provided insights into the evolving HR strategies required to support growth and innovation in today’s fast-paced tech landscape.
