On 20 May, our colleagues from CR Partners in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, University of Epoka in Tirana, Albania, conducted the workshop titled “Practical Aspects of Merger Filings in Albania.” The team included our colleagues Senior Associate Adi Brovina and Associate Sirius Tartari.
The session explored the practical elements of the merger filing process within the Albanian legal system. Our colleagues provided in-depth analysis and practical advice on managing merger transactions, including those with foreign elements. They navigated students through the complexities of merger classifications, regulatory requirements, and strategic considerations in the Albanian context.
Throughout the presentation, attendees gained a deeper understanding of key legal issues related to mergers and acquisitions in Albania. The discussion encompassed regulatory obligations, procedural steps, and the critical aspects of compliance and strategic planning. By shedding light on these fundamental aspects, the workshop became a valuable learning experience for students, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to effectively manage merger filings as a crucial aspect of modern business practice.
At the end of the presentation, students raised various questions about several notorious merger cases in Albania, leading to an engaging and informative discussion.
